What does "Add a contact" mean?

"Contact" is just a fancy website term for friend, and advertisers need friends just like everybody else. The more you have, the more you can get the word out about special announcements and promotions. Just don't spam folks. They don't like that. Now, to add a contact, simply visit the profile of another member, artist, or advertiser, and click "Add As Contact." Voila! They're your newest buddy. The relationship is one-way unless they also decide to add you. To break-up with them, just click on the "Remove Contact" button next to their image on your Contacts page.

Elsewhere? Huh?

This is the 21st century. We know you already have at least one website up dedicated to your business. So, here's the place where you can link to it. In fact, you're able to post up to five links in "Elsewhere" to help get the word out about whatever you do and/or sell. Simply input what you'd like to call your site, like "Our Blog" and a valid URL, like "http://www.example.com" (but without the quotation marks), and hit Save. Feel free to edit these whenever the wind blows.

Want to change your display name?

You gotta email your Super Deluxe contact first. Why? Because you're special, and we want to make sure we promote your stuff the best we can.

Want to change the graphical image that represents your company?

Again, you gotta get in touch with your Super Deluxe contact first, o.k.?

What's "About me?"

If you were just a normal member, this is where you'd talk about your beatbox skills or whatever. But as an advertiser, you'll want to use this space to convey the personality of your product and/or company. Have fun with it. Remember: everybody on Super Deluxe is able to read your "About Me" paragraph, and you can edit it on your profile page.

What's a tagline?

Come on. Do we really have to explain this one to you? You're an advertiser. Taglines are your bread and butter. Come up with a good one, and you won't even have to mention your product. "Just do it," aight?! Simply click the "Edit Tagline" link when you're logged onto your profile to mess with it.

What's up with this Uploads thing?

All advertising and no uploading makes your page a boring one. So, don't be shy. Upload some funny stuff already. Just make sure to title, tag and describe your videos well because they'll appear in search results linking users back to you. "Mature" content is fine by us -- just make sure you label it so. And don't upload stuff you don't own. Any other concerns about uploading can be answered here.
