Help

One of the ways you can help us police the content that appears on Super Deluxe.

What's flagging?

This is a means for a user to identify a video as either "inappropriate," "mature," or both. By doing so, the rest of the Super Deluxe community is alerted, as well as the fun police here in the home office. You can find the flagging option on any video's viewing page if that video has not already been flagged or reviewed.

What does "inappropriate" mean?

Common sense time! We hope everyone already knows when something really crosses the line, but just to clarify: "inappropriate" material is any video that features pornography, sexually explicit acts, dangerous or illegal acts, real violence, hate speech, threats or harassment. But it could also be something that you as a community alert us to. That's why we give users the option to flag a video as "inappropriate" on the video's viewing page. If you find a clip patently objectionable for any reason, flag it and we'll review it to decide if it meets our standards. We might decide it's o.k. and leave it up, or we might take it down.

What does "mature" mean?

Is your video edgy? Risque? Would you think twice before showing it to a bunch of underage kids? Fine by us. We don't like kids, anyways. All we ask is that you label it. Just select the "mature" rating from the drop-down menu during the upload process if you feel your material may be objectionable to other viewers. Otherwise, it will default to "for everyone." If want to change your rating later, you can. The option will be located on the page where you view the video.

Under Review?

This means the video's viewability status is pending a review by our lovely staffers. This happens after a clip is flagged by a Super Deluxe member. If the video is deemed acceptable (either for "mature" or "all" audiences), it can not be flagged again. If staffers decide the clip is indeed "inappropriate" and violates our Terms of Use, the video's owner will be notified and it will no longer be viewable. If the video's owner disagrees with the decision, they can contact us.

What if I disagree with a previously reviewed video's Mature rating or "appropriateness?"
