1. What is Super Deluxe?

Super Deluxe is the premier spot for top-quality comedy videos. Why? It's simple. We've got some of the funniest peeps in the comedy biz making exclusive clips for us. And unlike other video sharing sites, we specialize in comedy. We're not concerned with showing you some Norwegian kid's video blog. In fact, with the free time we have by not paying attention to Hans, we're able to corral the most original laughs on video online--from the big names of funny to the comic geniuses waiting to be discovered at their day jobs.


But that's not all. Super Deluxe is also all about laughing at people like you! That's why we make it easy for all of our users to upload their own funny videos, and share them with the rest of the world. We're totally free of charge, and we'll even help propel you to internet stardom if you've got the comedic chops. But we're not elitist; on the contrary, we're a social networking site. Everybody gets their own profile to customize, and everybody's invited to the party: mingle with other members, hobnob with artists, share videos, share opinions, share bodily fluids. Whatever.

2. What can I upload?

Alright stop, collaborate, and listen. We want you to upload funny videos you've made. Of course they'll appear on your profile page, but if they're really good, we'll even promote them elsewhere on the site. So, make sure you title, tag and describe your videos well so that they'll show up more often in search results. Also, our file size limit is 100 MB. Anything larger simply won't fit.


But make sure you don't upload anything you don't own, such as copyrighted material. We will remove the video, though repeat offenders might have their membership revoked. Check our Terms of Use for specifics, but the skinny is do not even think about uploading anything wantonly violent, explicit, or depraved, such as porn or anything else we may deem objectionable. Mature content is fine by us, as long as you flag it as such. Again, check those Terms of Use if you're unsure.



3. What kind of computer requirements are necessary to view Super Deluxe?

Alright, time to get technical. First off, you must have a computer with broadband connection to view Super Deluxe. The others are as follows:

Modern, standards compliant web browser including Internet Explorer 6 SP1 or higher (Windows), Firefox 1.5+ (Windows and Mac), and Safari 1.3+ (Mac)

Flash Player 8 (or higher) plugin required (for video and other site features).

Windows 2000 Pro or 2000 Pro SP 1 - SP 4; Windows XP Home or XP Home SP 1 or 2; Windows XP Pro or XP Pro SP 1 or 2; Windows Vista; Mac OS X 10.3 or 10.4

4. I saw something inappropriate. How can I flag it?

We hope everyone already knows when something really crosses the line, but just to clarify: "inappropriate" material is any video that features pornography, sexually explicit acts, dangerous or illegal acts, real violence, hate speech, threats or harassment. But it could also be something that you as a community alert us to. That's why we give users the option to flag a video as "Inappropriate" on the video's viewing page. If you find a clip patently objectionable for any reason, flag it and we'll review it to decide if it meets our standards. We might decide it's o.k. and leave it up, or we might take it down. Now, if a video is pending review or already has been reviewed, and you still find it offensive, just contact us.



5. Got any video search tips?

"Or," "not," "and" and hyphens (-) can be used to narrow and broaden your search results. All other characters won't work. Not entering anything in the search box will also not work.



6. Where Did My Video Go?

Let us guess: you were trying to upload a video, the thumbnail read "Pending Video" or "Broken Video," and then just froze that way. That means your video failed to upload correctly or failed to properly encode. But not to worry: Our system automatically deletes those videos after two days. If you feel your video was incorrectly deleted, or if our system didn't delete it for you, simply contact us.
