The process of creating an account with Super Deluxe.

What's an acceptable name?

One that doesn't make us groan every time we read it. Just kidding. All we require is your display name be 4 to 24 characters long. Spaces in between words and numbers are allowed, but special characters (@#$%^&) are not. Also, the killjoys in legal prohibit any "bad" words from being used. You know which ones we're talking about. And remember, you can always change your display name if you get tired of it.

Why do you need my date of birth?

Because we want to send you chocolate cake crammed in an envelope every year. Also, Super Deluxe may not always act like it, but we're a mature website that sometimes features mature content. We want to make sure you're old enough to handle that. You can also choose to be warned before you access mature stuff. Once you've logged in, go to "My Profile" then "Edit My Preferences" and turn Safe Mode 'On.'"

What the stuff is this URL mess and what's acceptable?

This is the address of your Super Deluxe profile page on the World Wide Interwebs that you can give to friends to link them directly to your Super Deluxe Profile. This an example (but not the real deal) of how it looks:

http://www.superdeluxe.com/sd/people/your_display_name_here

When you register, choose a URL that best represents you. It must fall between 4 to 24 letters and/or numbers with no special characters (@#$%^&), and definitely no lewd language. Also, any spaces you use will be converted to underscores (_). Make sure you like it, because once you complete registration, that's it--you can't mess with your URL ever again.
